As I watch chapter 6 video, there are many ways through searching the topic that is chosen. Like how Evan discussed in the video, print and non-print, organization, interviews, and the internet are ways for us to find information on what we need to. The steps to getting the information was the crucial part as of what Evan said. Since this is the part where information will be found, it is up to the person that is researching to whether absorb the information or not and if the information is valuable. Another thing that I learned was to ask myself what would the author think and what are the author's opinions as I read the article. To do my research, following the steps like how Evan said is a good way to start off: "prepare to do your research, gather your information, and evaluate the sources".
Oh and I also learned a lot about slugs. =]

Hi vDNA! I'm glad you learned a lot about slugs. :) Do you think you will implement the steps from the video that you are referring to here? Also, what types of resources are you thinking about using for the first speech?
